Air Ambulance Aircraft fleet

AirMD arranges air ambulance transportation on medically configured Lear jets, King Air Prop-Jet and Cessna twin aircraft. The Gulfstream III Jet is much larger caring up to 4 patients and flies long distance air ambulance flights to Europe, the Middle East and the Pacific Rim.

The Beach jet flies at 450 mph at 35,000 feet. Two family members can accompany patient.

The Gulfstream Jet, for International Air Ambulance flights; 500 mph at 41,000'; four or more passengers; 1 to 4 patients, plus medical team.

The King Air 200 flies at 260 mph at 29,000' 2 patients can be transported at one time

LEAR 35A

The Lear jet travels at 500 mph at 41,000 feet Often used for International Air Ambulance Flights

Pilots

All pilots receive on-going professional training on flight simulators. They must pass a flight physical every 6 months and be recertified by the FAA.

Medical Equipment

Each aircraft is equipped with the same type of the medical monitoring equipmentand technology commonly found in an intensive care unit.
